The only locations I remember from it are the ones that shared the name of a Dungeon Siege 1 location, but looked completely different, and that's not the reason you want locations to be memorable in a sequel. The mouse and keyboard controls are very clunky so even if you're trying to enjoy it for just the combat you're going to be disappointed unless you use a controller. I never got the feeling of really searching for a good item upgrade, or really wanting to get one more level. As a result it doesn't feel satisfying or fun to build a character. Instead of more flavourful stats like armour, and more tangible stats like health and damage, all the items just different amounts of attribute-like stats such as agility and finesse that feel very disconnected from the items themselves. The classes are very limited, while the stats are obscure and their exact effects obfuscated. Its gameplay is closer to Diablo 2 style ARPGs, but its item and skill systems are too poor to make it a good ARPG. It doesn't deliver the sort of gameplay that made people like Dungeon Siege 1 and 2. Its gameplay is closer to Diablo 2 style ARPGs, but its item and skill. There are multiple reasons why I (and I assume others) dislike it. It doesnt deliver the sort of gameplay that made people like Dungeon Siege 1 and 2.
